CEOs earn more $$$ in a day than other workers do in a year

Sounds a bit like one of those late night “make thousands of dollars a day, using our secret money-making methods!” infomercials… but we’ll reveal it now, without even asking for the initial investment of only $79.99. The big secret? Become a big-time CEO.

According to data released today, your typical CEO commanding a company with $1 billion in annual revenue made $11 million in 2005. If you divide this by the number of working days in a year (260), you get a salary of ~ $42,000 a *day*.

On the other hand, non-CEOs (or, your average working stiff…) earned $41,861 a *year*.

So, if you want to earn the big money, start plotting your path to the corner office. Oh, and if you ever add CEO to your business card, be sure to send us that check for $79.99.
